Senator Okey Ezea on Tuesday, 21st May, 2024, hosted the leaders of Akpanya Community led by the president-general of Akpanya Welfare Association, Mr. Silas Idoko.The delegation was in the office of Senator Ezea to brief him on the deplorable state of the Ogrute - Umuida - Unadu - Akpanya - Odolu road which was awarded during the President Goodluck Jonathan administration but thereafter abandoned after some preliminary works on the road by the succeeding Buhari administration. Senator Ezea, while promising to pursue the inclusion of the road in the coming budget, pledged to confer with his Kogi East counterpart, Senator Jibrin Isah Echocho, to see how the both of them can concert efforts to facilitate the revival of the project.
