Renewed Tragedy in Uzo-Uwani: Senator Ezea Calls for Justice and Patience

Emerging from the bush, these assailants brutally murdered several defenseless men, women, and children, reigniting fears and sorrow in a community that had begun to believe the killings had ceased.

Senator Ezea, deeply moved by the tragic events, expressed his profound grief and called for immediate action. "My heart bleeds for the innocent lives lost in this senseless massacre," he stated. "We thought the violence had ended, but once again, our people are suffering."

In his urgent appeal, Senator Ezea called upon the state's security apparatus — including the police, the Department of State Services (DSS), the Nigerian Army, and other security operatives — to act swiftly. "I enjoin the state actors to fish out these marauders and deliver justice to them as quickly as possible," he emphasized.
